Cross Country Ski Packages

We can host you with a full menu of possible outings - all scenic. The winter scenic beauty of the Pennsylvania Wilds is exceptional, at a time of the year when you virtually have the woods all to yourself. Also, it is a good time to combine this activity with other options, like winter animal tracking, a cookout, or a photosafari.

The challenge level is determined by you. Cross Country Skiing can be enjoyed at any skill level, and with the help of our guide, participants achieve a very functional level. All skills require practice, but XC skiing can be enjoyed at any level and we can provide the variety of experiences to suit your level: place yourself where you will enjoy yourself most.

Packages include: shuttling to and from sites, your skilled and knowledgeable guides, overnight stay, and meals. Bring your own skis, or we can direct you to a local ski rental shop who will outfit you with appropriate gear.

Skiing Options:

• Mountaintop - often has several feet more snow than the low country - can be flat or can be mixed up with backcountry skiing
• Streamside Trails - ski a variety of our long streamside trails of varying steepness and length - most are gradual and beautiful, a few can get a little steep - some with waterfalls
• Elk Camp - for the rugged and hearty - winterized with stove (wood or propane) heating our tents - smack in the middle of Pennsylvania's elk range - this is an area teaming with wildlife and other natural awe
